One shot, one bullet. Thats all it took to take down Frederic Gonz, one of the most notorious arms dealers who has also been known for genocide. He thought himself to be superior to all. As he hit the ground his men scattered. All were shot in the head one by one. On a far away roof top sat a man looking through the scope of a smoking sniper rifle. He had brown hair and looked in his twenties. He had on green military clothing composed of a bullet proof vest with grenades hanging around his waist, fingerless gloves, shoulder and knee pads, boots, a back pack, and a head set that projected orange holographic glasses.

"Did you get them?" said a calm voice from the head set. The man placed his left index and middle finger onto the head set. "Yeah." he said. "They didn't get very far."

"Ok. Me and Sakura will take pictures of them and head to the client."
"All right D. I'll meet you girls at the hotel. Get back safe. Over and out."
"Over and out." responded D

The man placed the sniper rifle onto his back and proceeded to leave when a bright light shinned from underneath him. "What th-" Before he could finish the ground slid from underneath him and he fell. Whiteness enveloped his surroundings and, for a few minutes, he was in free fall. He then hit the ground face first with a solid thump.

Ow...

As he got up he looked at his surroundings and checked his body for damage. He was surrounded by trees and bushes. When he finally stood up he heard a rustling sound from behind him. Quickly he took out an M16 from his back pack and pointed it where the sounds came from.
"Its ok. We aren't going to hurt you." came a voice from the bushes. A man stepped out. He had brown spiky hair and was wearing a cape. He had a large scar on his right eye and a mechanical hand. Following him were two black armored soldiers.
"My name is Ryo. Is your name Kyo?" Ryo asked. There was a long silence before there was an answer.
"Yeah..How do you know my name?" Kyo asked. His face cold and his gun still pointed.
"Queen Emerald told me. She is the one who summoned you here to Halius." Ryo replied

"What does your queen want with me?"
"She believes that you are one of the strongest and most cunning warrior in the universe and wants your help in capturing three convicts. They're Paine, Tremor, and Freeman. "
"What did they do..."
"They're a threat to civilians.." Responded Ryo sternly.
"Is there more than that?"

Ryo stayed silent. Kyo stared at Ryo for a moment and then lowered his gun. His finger still on the trigger.

"I can't help then. Sorry."
"Really? Not even for money, fame, or even the power to rule your world?"

Kyo shook his head.
"I already have something more important than those things. Take me ba-"

Before he could finish an explosion occured nearby and covered the area with smoke. Someone grabbed Kyo's hand and dragged him away from Ryo and the soldiers. After a few moments Kyo and the person who grabbed his hand cleared the smoke and went deeper into the forest. The person dragging Kyo was a man six inches taller than him with dark brown hair and wore a gray shirt and pants with a green robe on top. After running for a few minutes the man stopped.

"You didn't try to resist my grasp. Why?" asked the man
"If you wished harm upon me, I believe that you would have done it already." said Kyo.
"Hm. That is true."
The man let go of Kyo's hand and turned around. His hair covered his eyes.
"My name is Nathaniel. I dragged you here so I could ask you to help them. They have done nothing wrong. The queen wishes to capture them for her own gain."
"So they aren't a danger to civilians?"said Kyo giving a look of suspicion.
"I'd be lying if I said they were not, but truly they just wish for their freedom."

At that moment a memory from Kyo's past flashed before his eyes. It showed a little girl standing in front of a person who laid unconcious on the ground. Blood was slowly coming out of the person.
"Please Dad." said the little girl. "Let him go. He didn't do anything wrong."
Tears slowly appeared on the girl's face. "If you don't I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU."

The memory faded away and he was back in the forest. He stood silent.

"Whats your answer?" asked Nathaniel.
"..I'll help."

Nathaniel took out a piece of paper and handed it to Kyo.

"Go to one of these marked locations. There you may find Paine, Tremor, or Freeman. Stop any bounty hunters from reaching them."

Nathaniel walked into a bush and disappeared. Kyo stared into the sky.

Sigh...Looks like I won't make it back to the hotel..

Kyo then left for a marked location.
